On the High Seas!

On Friday 15th April, we will be engaging the children with their new learning by holding one of our ‘Big Bang’ days. This will be an opportunity for the whole school to be involved in a range of exciting activities throughout the day.  In order to help make this day more memorable for the children, we would like to invite them to come into school in costume.   As the theme is ‘On the High Seas’, they may like to come dressed as a sailor or a pirate a mermaid or a favourite sea creature

Let’s decorate the school with flowers!

Here are some patterns for knitted and crotched flowers. Our aim is to decorate the school site with as many of these as possible next spring. Feel free to use whatever colour wool you have, make petals in different colours, the sky’s the limit! There are plenty of patterns to be found on the internet if you want to make something different to the ones here. Please send your completed flowers in to school in an envelope marked ‘knitted flowers’. The more flowers the better so why not encourage family and friends to join in?
