Monday 22nd May
The children have arrived safely and are settling in well. So far the weather is lovely too! Long may the sun shine over Heatree!
Everyone enjoyed some team building activities in the afternoon and had a delicious cottage pie for tea. Tomorrow they will begin the exciting range of activities including: archery, bush craft, wilderness venture, low adventure and kayaking.
Tuesday 23rd May
All the children are enjoying the range of activities they have taken part in so far and are working really hard. Luckily, they’re tucking into delicious food and sleeping well so they’ve got lots of energy for the day ahead!
Today (Wednesday 24th) they will continue on the rotation of activities with the addition of the climbing tower for some groups. Here are some photos taken on the moor. What beautiful scenery!
Wednesday 24th May
The children are still having a fantastic time at camp and are enjoying the sunshine.
Today (Thursday 25th) each group will complete their final activities for the week before they prepare to return home tomorrow (Friday 26th).
Thursday 25th and Friday 26th May
The children’s adventure has almost finished! They enjoyed their final full day on Thursday completing the activities they had not yet undertaken and this morning have enjoyed a group orienteering activity before lunch in the sun.
They will be heading onto the coach at around 12pm and we estimate they will return to school at 3pm. This is dependent on traffic so Mr Quinn will update us during the journey. If there are any significant changes to the estimated arrival time, we will update the website.
The children are expected to arrive between 3.15pm and 3.30pm.
